After dealing with all these strange situations I have come to learn that it doesn't help things by worrying. Sure a little worry is okay and obviously normal; but I have come to learn that most issues you face with your new baby are quite normal and most all babies experience them. My best advice to give at this point is to trust your parenting instincts and don't be afraid to try the different products out there to aid you and your baby. When my baby first started experiencing gas (again very normal for most babies) I was so afraid to give him anything for it. After consulting his pediatrician I was given to okay to use infant gas drops on him every feeding. My point is even though I was aware them, and even had some on hand I was too afraid to use them, when I could have been relieving his discomforts weeks prior.
Braydon is now 9lbs 1oz and 21in long! He has grown so much this last month. Last week he when he was four weeks old he started wearing size 1 diapers and o-3 month clothing. I just recently got him a high-contrast black and white book. Apparently at this age babies mostly see in high contrast so black and white images appeal to them more. I set the book up in front of him during "tummy time" and could not take his eyes off it! I highly recommend using these books to help stimulate your infants brain.

Next week we are expecting an early childhood development specialist to be paying us a visit, and from what I'm told she should be bringing more stimulating activities like this for us to try out along with some helpful information I will be sure to pass along. Thank you for reading and fill free to comment any questions or thoughts of your own. I love hearing about other peoples experiences hence the blog! Until next time!
