If you have a support group for moms in your community you should check it out, or even start one of your own. At the one I go to we read a scripture from the bible, talk about what it means to us, then share what has been going on in our lives. It's a great way to relieve stress, make new friends, and just get out and do something; which let's face it, doesn't happen very often when you have an infant.

Wednesday Mom's Group
To today I went with my friend Caitlin to a support group for moms held at our local church. She had been going for sometime and since I have been having cabin fever trapped in the house most days I thought it would be good for me and Braydon. I am not a particularly religious person, but I consider myself open minded when it comes to spirituality. I think it is important to have Braydon exposed to religion and give him the opportunity to choose for himself to have religion in his life. "Mom's group" isn't just about being close to God though, it was really nice to be able to hear other women's stories and have a place to vent to people who actually care about one another. I chose to observe and not share today because it was my first time going, but they hold it every Wednesday morning and you can even take your kids to the daycare program in there if you want.
